There are few things in the construction world more valuable than time. Thanks to our 3D Laser Scanner, we save time on measurements, while increasing our accuracy and simplifying the fabrication process. This translates to substantial benefits for our customers by allowing us to shorten our turnaround times, ensure an exact panel fit, and offer the 3D measurements to other professionals on the job site.
Architects can benefit greatly from our scanning services, especially on renovations. We can scan the job site and provide complete 3D models of the building, allowing the architect to design based on precise measurements. This workflow saves tremendous time otherwise spent on performing hand measurements, and results in better designs through higher precision and educated decision making.
Shorter time on the job site (just hours in most cases)
Precision down to the millimeter
Reduction of human error
Ease of panel design thanks to complete data
Increased safety of measuring personnel
Non-Disruptive to on-site work crews
How it works
1. Sphere Target
3. 3D Model
4. Panel Fabrication
5. Installation of Panels
Sphere targets are placed at strategic locations to aid in aligning and joining data from multiple scans.
Scanner captures real-world points located in 3D and saves them as a 3D “point cloud”.
Data is imported into specialized software and processed to develop a true-to-life 3D model, over which the panel systems are designed.
Completed and approved design is sent to production where the 3D model is used to create perfect fitting panels.
Fabricated panels are installed on the building.
