ACM Panel Systems

A lightweight, CONCEALED fastener rainscreen type composite panel system developed by Fairfield Metal for faster fabrication and simplified installation. ECONECT-RS™ is compatible with all 4mm metal composites materials such as Alucobond, Reynobond, Alpolic, and Vitrabond.

One of the main features of the ECONECT-RS™ panel system are the concealed fasteners. No rivets or screws are visible in the rainscreen channel, thus creating a very elegant and sleek appearance. The clean look allows ECONECT-RS™ panels to be used for interiors and other accessible areas where the smooth appearance is significant.

The ECONECT-RS™ system does away with continuous lengths of wall brackets. Instead, shorter sections are installed – significantly simplifying the installation process and allowing greater adjustability. Another benefit of this design is the reduction in the system’s weight. The cost of this system is also lower because of the material savings.

The ECONECT-RS™ system is designed to channel rainwater down through special weep holes located on the bottom horizontal edge of each panel. An array of shims can be used to correct for wall variations and ensure perfect panel system flatness. As a rainscreen type panel system, we recommend installing it onto an already waterproofed wall surface.

A lightweight, EXPOSED fastener rainscreen type metal composite panel system developed by Fairfield Metal as a more economical alternative to the ECONECT-RS™ system. Both systems can be combined to create a seamless-looking panel building envelope while reducing the cost where concealed fasteners are not required.

The EXPOSED version of ECONECT-RS™ can be fabricated at a much lower cost. Since both systems use the same wall brackets, they can be seamlessly combined. For example, the more clean-looking concealed fastener RS system can be used at the lower levels of the facade, while the more cost-effective exposed RSE version can be installed above.

A lightweight, GASKET-TYPE metal composite panel system. It offers excellent water protection with a more pleasing appearance than the standard wet-caulk type systems.

ECONECT-GS™ metal composite panel system relies on a hard silicone gasket to provide protection from water intrusion. This design offers a more elegant appearance than the more common wet-caulk systems. In case of panel damage, replacement of the panel is possible thanks to the removable gasket design.

The ECONECT-GS™ panel system can be installed over a variety of substrates, making it an ideal solution for both new and existing construction projects. An array of shims can be used to correct for wall variations and ensure perfect panel system flatness. As with the other ECONECT-RS™ panel systems, this gasket version accepts all metal composite materials in standard 4mm thickness. 

A lightweight, WET-SEAL type composite panel wall cladding system. It is compatible with all 3mm, 4n and 6mm metal composites materials such as Alucobond, Reynobond, Alpolic, and Vitrabond. ECONECT-Z™ system features an innovative two-bracket design, allowing for significant weight and material savings.

ECONECT-Z™ utilizes a two-bracket design, where one of the panel brackets doubles as a wall bracket and nests the other panel bracket on top. This design allows the use of composite materials of different thicknesses and makes it easy for the installer to align the panels. Despite its light weight, ECONECT-Z™ retains high strength and complete protection from water intrusion. 

The use of silicone caulking makes ECONECT-Z™ an ideal panel system for curved panel applications. A backer rod and silicone caulk is used to fill the channels and seal them, making the ECONECT-Z™ impervious to water. Various colors of caulking can be used to achieve the desired aesthetics of the facade. 

Because ECONECT-Z™ is a wet-sealed panel system and acts as the primary weather barrier, a waterproofing layer is not required to be installed underneath, which reduces the cost of the complete wall assembly. The unique two-bracket design allows you to use composite materials of all standard thicknesses (3mm, 4mm, 6mm).
